I. Opening remarks
• Observance of Veteran’s Day - Joe Riser
II. Updates on past Local Issues and other community requests and actions, as available.
• Update from the CD 14 Council office.
• Pedal Spin Studio - Stephanie Yates.
III. Public comments and announcements regarding non-agenda items, or requests for future agenda items -- within the scope of committee’s ability to address (2 mins. each).
• Water gardens and rain conservation - Clare Kelley
• Tree Lighting - Wendi Riser
• Update on Hermon Community Garden - Paula Sirola
Discussion/Action agenda items:
IV. Request that the city bring a basketball court to Hermon Park - Remedy Medina
V. Discussion of the possibility of lighting the “Hermon” monument sign. - Wendi Riser
VI. Lodge a protest and appeal against placing ASNC at-large project funds not requested through Hermon Local Issues as being “Hermon” expenses ($1,950.00).
VII. Funding request from L.A. International Charter High School to the ASNC for $1,000 to pay for renovation of the school's basketball court for student and community use, and addition of safety features - Tony Torres.

The purpose of the ASNC [is to]: 1) Provide a forum for discussion and review of ASNC issues and projects; 2) Engage stakeholders in deliberation and collaboration on matters affecting the community; 3) Promote participation in City governance and decision making processes, and to promote greater awareness and utilization of city services available to (ASNC) stakeholders; 4) Work with other neighborhood councils, communities and organizations on issues of common interest; 5) Advocate ASNC issues to government and private agencies, where there is widespread community agreement; 6) Inform and educate community stakeholders and residents of forthcoming projects, events, and resources available
