1. Call to order, introductions - Ariel Van Zandweghe, Chair
2. ACTION ITEMS with Funding

a. Advertisement in Northeast Los Angeles Veterans Parade Program - $300 [Ruby Devera, Budget & Finance Committee]
b. Urban Rancho, a Sustainable Garden Party at Lummis Home - $300 community outreach [Katharine Parra]
c. Moved that the ASNC Board should budget for and authorize Local Issues committee chairs and conveners to spend funds up to $150 per meeting – or $225 for Mt. Washington, due to its relative size -- from the “Outreach” 2011-12 budget (sub-category “advertising”) for broader stakeholder outreach through mailings, flyers, ads, banners, etc. Organizers would be able to use the funds in the way most useful in that community for promoting greater participation at their regular Local Issues Committees.

4. ACTION ITEMS without Funding

a. Content and dates for remaining four Boulevard Sentinel half page ads
b. P.O. box key and voicemail access be given to Registrar per Bylaws to “oversee all communications with ASNC members.”
c. Inventory, location, and access to all existing outreach materials
d. Transfer of membership database back to Scott Burleigh with the Registrar’s oversight

5. DISCUSSION ITEMS

a. Marketing approaches to keep and enlarge stakeholder membership and participation
b. New outreach materials to enhance communications with stakeholders
c. Role of the web site and need for dedicated paid webmaster
d. Allocation of outreach budget
