1. Opening remarks from New co-chairs:  Fernando Orozco, Elizabeth Herron,

2.  Public comments . (Please keep it brief).
3. Comments or reports from, individuals requesting a “Northeast Los Angeles Coalition"

4. Information on pending ICO (Interim Control Ordinance)  regarding ground mounted   
     photovoltaic cells located in high fire districts. 
5. Updates on past & present Mt. Washington Local Issues.

6. Re-Cap on ASNC Land Use Meeting topics including:  proposed city wide  zoning  “Blueprint” & Educational information  program held: Saturday Nov.13th   at Historic Downtown Outreach Center , 114 W. 5th St, Los Angeles, Ca. 90013 , and a report on the CRA taking over administrating the Los Angeles River overlay zone.

7. Brief discussion on using “paper streets” for urban walking trails.

               8. Request for information on the Cleland issue RE: houses built on the property across           

                 From the park & stairs that go up to Frieda Dr., these stairs are falling apart, get city 

                 Get city to take action on these stairs. 


9. If a request for funds, you must fill out a request form from the ASNC website to be done before the Local Issue Meeting

Discussion and possible action on the following agenda items:

The local issues committee tabled discussion on adding language to the  “Proposed Ordinance for Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS)”  to include incentives for grey-water and or rain-barrel water retention systems as a part of the pending ordinance A motion of support for a letter to add  this language to the onsite waste water ordinance will be taken up at this time.

The purpose of the ASNC [is to]: 1) Provide a forum for discussion and review of ASNC issues and projects; 2) Engage stakeholders in deliberation and collaboration on matters affecting the community; 3) Promote participation in City governance and decision making processes, and to promote greater awareness and utilization of city services available to (ASNC) stakeholders; 4) Work with other neighborhood councils, communities and organizations on issues of common interest; 5) Advocate ASNC issues to government and private agencies, where there is widespread community agreement; 6) Inform and educate community stakeholders and residents of forthcoming projects, events, and resources available.
