ASNC's Annual Election
Voting - far AND near (ASNC Forum, 11/07)
DID YOU JUST RECENTLY VOTE for people from such "F A R A W A Y" places as Arizona, Illinois, Delaware or Alaska?
GREAT, and thank you!
How about also helping to elect your choice of candidates for the City-certified neighborhood council representing such "NEARBY" places as: Montecito Heights, Monterey Hills, Mount Washington, Sycamore Grove, and Hermon -- to Los Angeles City government? You can, if you're a "stakeholder" in one of these Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council communities.
Vote-by-Mail ballots are now on their way to a record number of previously registered ASNC stakeholders. Each includes a community-specific ballot, candidate statements, and a postage-paid return envelope -- what could be easier? But, they must be received back by Sat., Nov. 22 at the latest. (Note: Each year, about 1-2 percent of ballots arrive too late, and those votes are not included in the final, election-night count!)
