ASNC Board Openings
Candidates for Open Board Seats
The ASNC is seeking to seat Board Members to replace representatives who have resigned (see Board Openings)
So far, two Candidates, one for each open seat, have emerged.
Both will have applications in hand and be prepared to speak to their interest in the position. I believe in the past we've given each 90 seconds, or maybe 2 minutes to explain their in interest in ASNC.
(1) For At-Large Healthcare & Seniors Representative
-- David Talbert (Hermon)
(David is the Program Director at the Monterey Adult Day Healthcare Center where we sometimes meet).
(2) For Sycamore Grove Geographical Representative
-- Michael Blatt
(Michael is a partner in the architectural firm of Blatt & Fung in Sycamore Grove). |
There may be one other candidate -- I'm waiting for a callback -- but from the message left, it sounded as if she might be in the wrong area to fill this. And, the deadline for stating intention to run is this Friday, so others may still surface.
All interested persons should contact the ASNC (see following), to receive forms and provide a 100-word statement, which will be distributed via e-mail and on the ASNC website. Candidates will also be asked to speak to the board and be considered for appointment during the April meeting.
