National Public Lands Day (NPLD)
in Debs Park

The Debs Park Advisory Board and Audubon Society are celebrating National Public Lands Day (NPLD) on Saturday, September 27th. Please come participate (and bring the kids). Help keep our environmental jewel, Debs Park, the centerpiece of our community.

NOTE: Here's a recent fun event at the Audubon Center:

Saturday afternoon, Sept 20th, the Audubon Center presented Xavier Quijas Yxayotl and his three musician/dancers. Orchestras of Pasadena sponsored the show and provided dinner beforehand: tacos, ceviche, emapanadas, quesadillas, guacamole. The performance was outstanding. At the end, Xavier invited the children up to practice coyote howls with him and the audience joined in. It was a perfect mix of fun, enlightenment, education and enjoyment.
