Dear Community Members,

Please review the attached community alert from LAPD regarding the recent rash of copper wire theft from City of Los Angeles street lights.

Many of you have been directly affected by non-functioning street lights on your block. If you witness any unidentified persons pulling copper wire from underground vaults, please call 9-1-1 immediately.

If you would like to report non-functioning street lights on your street, do not hesitate to contact [the Council field office].
