Mt. Washington ASNC Stakeholder Advisory Please Watch the Mail for Your ASNC RE-VOTE Ballot ! Very soon, you'll receive a NEW ballot to use in selecting two of the four representatives for the Mount Washington community on the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council -- your city-certified advisory board and official voice to Los Angeles City government. On Dec. 18, 2007, the Los Angeles Human Relations Commission agreed with an election challenge that unintentional errors in the wording of ballots mailed to registered Mount Washington stakeholders of the ASNC raised "serious doubt" about the results of last year's general election. To eliminate any doubt about that vote's validity, the HRC called on the ASNC to revote those TWO positions. That election will be held on March 24 (additional details are included in the mailing). Your new ballot will arrive shortly. Please take the time to read the four candidates statements, and select two of them to represent you in these important advisory roles.
