Dear Ms. Qureshi,

Thank you for attending the first meeting and swearing-in of the 2008 Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council (ASNC) Board of Representatives last evening. As you referenced then, I am now forwarding (via E-mail w/ and attached PDF, and paper copy for hand delivery), the Mt. Washington Revote Addendum agendized that night.

At that same ASNC meeting, the seated members of the board unanimously approved this addendum, for forwarding to DONE, with the specific dateline revisions suggested by Independent Election Administrator Jerry Kvasnicka. His communication, sent after reviewing an earlier draft of what follows, is included for your reference. In it, he also offers his assessment that . . . “it complies with the needs and integrity of the ‘revote”.

And, as we also discussed earlier, in order for this timeline to work and for Mr. Kvasnicka to serve as the IEA for this small final portion of our 2007 election (during an opening in his elections schedule), we will need DONE's approval for what you are now receiving within 3 weeks or less (i.e., before Feb. 21). This will allow just enough time for proofing, printing, and mailing to stakeholders of the outreach communications and ballot pieces outlined.

I'll check back with you shortly to make sure you have received the hardcopy and that there are no missing components to it – or please feel free to confirm receipt via e-mail.

Thank you, in advance, for expediting this,

Joseph Riser
Hermon Geographic Representative
