Letter about:
Audit Submission Past Due
|
RE: Audit Submission Past Due (see DONE letter below) FROM: Pat Griffith, ASNC TresurerJanuary 22, 2008 I have been guilty of not reconciling and getting the audit submission to DONE, but have now finally completed this for both the delinquent audits plus this last quarter (Oct - Dec. 2007), so will be letting Jack Fenn overlook it all tomorrow evening, then mailing to DONE on Thursday. I just have time to submit the last Demand Warrants to DONE before I retire as Treasurer next Monday evening, so if you do have anything that needs payment, please fax to me at (323) 221-9807. I also have $336 in Petty Cash, so can do a few quick reimbursements on Monday evening. (I am also submitting a Demand Warrant for receipts RuthAnne gave me a year ago that I overlooked - that she has been patiently waiting for - so apologies to RuthAnne). On my retirement as Treasurer, the Board will need to elect a new Treasurer and get that information to DONE immediately, so DONE can begin their process. My Credit Card will be cancelled, so it will not be possible to withdraw anymore Petty Cash until the new Treasurer is up and running. And it will not be possible to submit new items for reimbursement/payment by DONE until that new Treasurer has gone through the DONE Treasurer training, so there will be some down time. I will continue to answer questions re: the final audits and last Demand Warrants, so will have a big box of documentation to hand over to the new Treasurer, once all that is settled. I am attaching my final Income & Expense and Spending reports for the meeting, and am also attaching my updated list of motions passed. It has been a pleasure and honor to work with the ASNC for the past 4 years, and I remain a firm believer that this Neighborhood Council offers a lot to our areas. And that we have done really useful and great work. However, I have geared my life for a 4 year term, and have put off quite a few other important issues that I need to deal with now. While the issue of new Mt. Washington representatives will hopefully be settled soon, I must resign from the Board as of the January meeting when the new Board is installed. Thanks very much for the chance to work with all of you. Pat Griffith
