Often refreshments will be provided - meet neighbors and discuss local issues and ways to make your area a better, safer neighborhood. The event will also include a community walk down city streets, so don't forget your flashlights!
Hollenbeck Area: There are several National Night Events taking place. There will be a Peace Walk in El Sereno starting at 6 p.m. at the corner of Eastern and Huntington. There are also events taking place at Dolores Mission and Lincoln High School. For more information, call (323) 266-7734. Northeast Los Angeles: There will also be several events going on in the Northeast Los Angeles area. They include a Candlelight Vigil at the Memorial Flag located at 6000 Figueroa Street; a Vigil in Echo Park at 929 Academy Center; and Peace Walks at Cypress and Divine Savior High School.
