| 11. | The ASNC should withdraw from membership in the Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Congress (LANCC), a private organization not affiliated with or recognized by the city. LANCC's charter has been deemed by the City Attorney as not being within the scope of the mission of city certified NCs. See opinion letter, portion attached. (Note: Some 40 of the 90 city NCs have joined this organization and ASNC has sent a non-board member as its liaison for two years.) Requested by Joseph Riser. | |
| 12. | The ASNC should form an ad hoc committee to assess the status of Lummis Home and work with Council District 1, the Department of Recreation and Parks, and other city and non-governmental agencies to assist in its rehabilitation and preservation. Requested by Board member Eliot Sekuler. | |

The public is requested to fill out a Speaker Card to address the Board on any item of the agenda prior to the Board taking action on an item. Comments from the public on Agenda items will be heard only when the respective item is being considered. Comments from the public on other matters not appearing on the Agenda that is within the Board's subject matter jurisdiction will be heard during the Public Comment period. Public comment is limited to 2 minutes per speaker, unless waived by the presiding officer of the Board.
