Webmaster

This is a part-time position. The actual hours will vary from month-to-month depending upon the need. Enrollment with AppleOne (the payroll agency) or W-9 & BTRC for the City of LA is required. The Webmaster will work directly with the Board and report to the ASNC President. The work time is flexible and the Webmaster works at will of the Board, rather than under a contract

The ASNC Webmaster's role is to coordinate the planning, maintenance, and accessibility of ASNC Web site content in a way that ensures the consistency of the Web site's look and feel. This individual is also responsible for creating some original Web site content. Understanding of a variety of Web development languages and demonstration of past work is required.

Postings required include 3-5 meeting notices per month, supporting documentation, links to City or NC related information, events and pictures. Postings must be made promptly, due to Brown Act requirements. Webmaster must demonstrate previous experience in maintaining websites and an understanding of the Los Angeles Neighborhood Council requirements. Expected contents will include all the existing features, and are outlined in ASNC Web site Specifications document: 0207-WebSpecs.htm

Exact content changes will be described in a public meeting, called once the Webmaster has been selected.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of Neighborhood Council requirements
Strong web development skills
Demonstration of previous work
References must be supplied
